What we store

What you typed at checkout: your mark, name, link and one-line description. All of it is public by design. That is what you are buying.
Your email address, passed to us by Dodo Payments after a successful payment. Used for the receipt and to tell you when someone outbids you. Never shown on the site, never sold, never shared.
A one-way hash of your IP address, salted, used to count a click once per day and to rate-limit abuse. We cannot recover the address from the hash.

What we never see

Card numbers, billing addresses and tax details go to Dodo Payments, the merchant of record. They never reach our servers. Their privacy policy governs that data.

Cookies

None for tracking. No analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no third-party embeds. The admin console keeps a token in your browser's session storage; that is it.

Emails

Two kinds: the receipt for a payment, and a notice when someone outbids you. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link that stops the outbid notices. Receipts keep coming, because they are a record of a payment you made.

How long we keep it

Marks and payment records are kept as long as the site runs, payment records because tax law requires it. Hashed IPs are pruned after 90 days.

Your rights

Email hello@foot.ink to get a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We answer within 30 days. Deleting a mark that is currently on a nail ends the placement with no refund.
